ToDay in sch finish my work... but didnt listen to wat ah pat is teachin today... fuk man... PCA die liao la... DAMN
sianz... this week whole week is exam and project... hell man... tml is NWF test le... i hope can pass... i cannot study at all sia... haiz... now i study half way come do blog... siao sia... LOL cannot concerntrade at all.. damn...

CHAP 1metropolitan area networks (MANs)
wide area networks (WANs)
local area networks (LANs)
3 network component... DATA - information speech, Transmission media - air ,Protcocl Language.
Data - Files and Floders
Transmission media - communication is by wire, optical communications using light waves, mircowave and radio communication.
Protocol - Language that a computer uses to communicate with other computers, Examples are TCP/IP, NetBEUI, IPX/SPX
(LANs) consist of - computer, NIC card, Network media, nwework traffic control devices, peripheral devices.
NIC and PCMCIA card... PCMCIA = laptop card..
Media Access Control (MAC) address = 12 hex number(physical address)
Transceiver (transmitter/receiver) AUI interface
Network media consist of - coaxial cable, optical fiber cable, free space and copper cable - CAT 5 UTP unshielded twisted pair cable (CAT 5 UTP)
Repeater, Bridge, Hubs, Switch, Router and Cloud.
Hubs - multi-port repeater, active of passive hubs.
Bridge - connect 2 lan segments
Switch - multi-port bridge
Router - direct tracffic from one network to another, routr data based on network addressses (IP addres)
Cloud - a collection of devices that operate at all lvls of the OSL model
haiz... this week is a busy and crazy day... tml NWF, wednesday PCA, thursday NAFA test, friday carreer planning... WTF man... dude... im goin crazy...
Tuesday first day start work, which means tml... hope its gonna be a good start...
